We are based in Ranua and operate our own private lakeside Activity Park near Ranua Wildlife Park. From here, we run Northern Lights tours, snowmobile safaris, reindeer activities and seasonal lake and forest experiences throughout the year.
Routes chosen for the conditions
Our guides work in these conditions throughout the winter. They choose each route according to the day's snow, ice and weather conditions, and adjust the program when conditions require it.
Northern Lights tours from Ranua
Our Northern Lights tours leave from Ranua. Once you travel beyond the village, artificial light is limited, and our guides select the viewing area according to the cloud cover, weather and road conditions that evening.
Our own Activity Park by the lake
Lupland Activity Park is our private lakeside base near Ranua Wildlife Park. Winter programs can combine reindeer, natural-ice activities, a campfire, sauna and ice bathing in one location.
In summer, the same lakeside setting is used for activities such as sauna, swimming, fishing, canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding. The available program always depends on the season and conditions.
Welcome to Lupland
Our visitor centre is at Pappilantie 1, 97700 Ranua, about an hour's drive from Rovaniemi. This is the meeting point for many of our activities; the exact meeting point and any included transfer are shown with each product. Lupland Activity Park is a separate lakeside location near Ranua Wildlife Park.
