Lupsakka Resort Oy is developing the Lupland experience park into a year-round tourism and recreation destination. The project is implemented under the Renewing and Skilled Finland 2021-2027 programme and is co-funded by the European Union.
The project improves the area's basic infrastructure by constructing approximately 800 metres of access road, developing parking and ground structures, and creating guided routes. In addition, around 100 metres of boardwalk trails will be built, along with a lean-to shelter, a fireplace area, and a toilet.
Equipment will also be modernised to ensure that both snow-free season services (mountain biking, fishing, SUP paddling, sauna services, and an adventure course) and winter activities can be delivered safely and with increased capacity.
The aim of these development measures is to strengthen the area's attractiveness, increase visitor numbers, and enable year-round growth in tourism.
