The trip is operated by Lupland Adventures with departure from Arctic Guesthouse & Igloos in Ranua. Pickup can also be arranged from Ranua Resort Arctic Igloos reception or Ranua Resort Safari House, making the experience easy to join if you are staying in the Ranua area.
The route includes two of Oulanka's most rewarding sights. At Pähkänäkallio, you experience one of the area's iconic viewpoints, known for its wide natural landscape and impressive river valley scenery.
The adventure also includes Myllykoski, a well-known riverside location in Oulanka. Here, flowing water, forest surroundings and the traditional mill setting create a strong sense of place and give the day a clear highlight for nature lovers and photographers.
The Oulanka adventure lasts approximately 7-8 hours, giving enough time to travel from Ranua, enjoy the main stops and take breaks without rushing. The group size is kept small, with a minimum of 3 participants and a maximum of 8.
The package includes sausage, drinks and snacks during the day. Departures are scheduled at 10:00, and trips are available from the beginning of June until the end of September.
