Aurora Escape - 3-Day Lapland Adventure Under the Northern Sky

Experience the enchanting beauty of Ranua through three unforgettable days filled with northern magic, snowy adventures and cozy moments by the fire. Aurora Escape invites you to discover Lapland both day and night, from snowmobiling across frozen lakes to calm moments under the northern sky.

Day 1 runs from 20:00 to 23:00 and takes you on a guided Northern Lights experience with a local expert. From a secluded viewing spot, you have an open view toward the northern sky with forest and frozen lakes as the backdrop. Between watching the sky, you gather by the campfire for grilled sausages and hot drinks.

Day 2 runs from 20:00 to 22:00. This nighttime snowmobile safari starts with instruction and a safety briefing before you ride through snowy trails and across frozen lakes under the Arctic night sky. The safari is suitable for both first-timers and more experienced riders.

Day 3 runs from 19:00 to 22:00. You travel by snowmobile-pulled sleigh through a snowy forest, wrapped in reindeer hides, to Lupland's Aurora Activity Park by a serene forest lake. The evening includes skating, kicksledding, sledding, snowshoeing, e-mountain bikes, reindeer feeding, close reindeer encounters, sauna and ice bath.

During the final evening you also visit a nearby wilderness camp, meet the reindeer up close and enjoy a 1 km reindeer sleigh ride through the forest before ending the night with stories from your guide inside a cozy Lappish hut.
